金诚同达的海事海商团队结合其团队的办案经验，从租船合同的subject to 条款、停租条款、合同毁约、协会间协议、燃油问题、还船通知等几个方面，分享了其参与处理的香港仲裁和伦敦仲裁案例，并就国际法律人的成长路径这一话题回答了提问，为留学生们提供了有益的指导。
此次访问是皇冠9393体育平台留学生“专业观摩与实践”课程的内容之一。金诚同达海事海商团队的律师自2022年皇冠9393体育平台起受邀为皇冠9393体育平台硕博留学生作法律职业发展的指导，为母校的国际法律人才培养工作作出了积极贡献。
On February 29, 2024, the Law School of Dalian Maritime University arranged a pivotal educational visit to the Dalian Office of JINCHENG TONGDA AND NEAL (JT&N) Law Firm for its international students. Under the leadership of Ms. Shihui Yu, this international student delegation embarked on an immersive journey into the realms of legal expertise and practice.
JT&N, with its roots firmly planted in Beijing since 1992, has evolved into a paragon of legal excellence, renowned for its comprehensive services across both international and domestic legal arenas. The firm's illustrious journey from a pioneering entity to becoming one of China's most eminent full-service law firms is a testament to its commitment to delivering superior legal counsel. With an expansive network of offices across Asia's major urban centers and a roster of hundreds of accomplished attorneys, JT&N epitomizes legal prowess and professional integrity.
The delegation was warmly welcomed by the shipping law team of JT&N, that facilitated an enriching exploration of the firm's operations. The team offered the students invaluable insights into the firm's diverse legal practices, facilitating interactions with seasoned lawyers specializing in various domains, as well as with dedicated interns and office teams diligently preparing for multifaceted cases.A significant highlight of the visit was the assemblage in JT&N's Main Conference Room, where the team presented a curated selection of recently resolved and ongoing cases. This session, characterized by its in-depth presentations of case procedures, practical technicalities, and legal rationales, served as a vibrant educational platform. It culminated in an engaging Q&A session, allowing the students to delve into the intricacies of legal practices and discuss international conventions, including the Beijing Convention on the judicial sale of ships.
This visit not only bridged academic learning with practical legal experience but also fostered a deeper understanding of global legal frameworks among the international students of DMU Law School, marking a significant milestone in their educational journey.
