6月12日，我校与英国斯旺西大学召开合作举办的法学专业本科教育项目（以下简称“项目”）启动会议（线上）。英国斯旺西大学执行校长Paul Boyle、副校长Judith Lamie、副校长兼人文与社会科学部执行院长Ryan Murphy、人文与社会科学部副院长Fiona Jordan、皇冠9393体育平台院长Alison Perry、国际航运与贸易法负责人Baris Soyer、人文与社会科学部课程项目发展负责人Marie Campbell-Davies，我校校长单红军、皇冠9393体育平台院长朱作贤、国际联合学院院长张金蕾及相关教师出席会议。会议由张金蕾和Baris Soyer共同主持。
On June 12, Dalian Maritime University (DMU) and Swansea University (SU) co-organized a launch meeting (online) on the Joint Double Degree Programme in LLB Law between two sides (hereinafter referred to as "the programme"). Prof. Paul Boyle, Vice-Chancellor (SU), Prof. Judith Lamie, Pro-Vice-Chancellor International (SU), Prof. Ryan Murphy, Pro-Vice-Chancellor and Executive Dean of Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences (SU), Dr. Fiona Jordan, Associate Dean International of Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences (SU), Prof. Alison Perry, Dean of the School of Law (SU), Prof. Baris Soyer, Director of Institute of International Shipping and Trade Law (SU), and Marie Campbell-Davies, Head of Product and Portfolio Development of Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences (SU), Prof. Shan Hongjun, President of DMU, Prof. Zhu Zuoxian, Dean of DMU Law School, Dr. Zhang Jinlei, Dean of the College of International Collaboration, DMU, and related faculty members attended the meeting. The meeting was co-chaired by Dr. Zhang Jinlei and Prof. Baris Soyer.
单红军和Paul Boyle分别致辞对项目正式获批表示热烈祝贺。单红军表示，斯旺西大学是我校重要的合作伙伴之一，尤其是在海商法领域，双方的合作已经超过20年皇冠9393体育平台。此次项目获批，是双方进一步加深合作的重要里程碑，希望通过两校共同努力，培养更多能够高质量服务于国际舞台的法学人才。Paul Boyle对双方团队取得的丰硕成果表示祝贺，他表示，此次合作不仅是两校教育交流的新起点，更将为学生提供丰富的国际学习体验和广阔的发展前景。
Prof. Shan Hongjun and Prof. Paul Boyle delivered speeches to express their warm congratulations on the formal approval of the programme. Prof. Shan Hongjun said that Swansea University is one of the most important partners of DMU, especially in the field of maritime law, and the cooperation between the two sides has been more than 20 years. The approval of the programme is an important milestone to further deepen the cooperation between the two sides, and hope that through the joint efforts of the two universities, more legal talents who can serve in the international arena with high quality could be cultivated. Prof. Paul Boyle congratulated the two sides for the fruitful results achieved by the team, and said that this cooperation is not only a new starting point of the educational exchanges between the two universities, but also provides students with a rich international learning experience and a broad prospect of development.
张金蕾回顾了项目的发起背景和申报历程，Baris Soyer教授阐述了项目的愿景和目标。朱作贤介绍了联合管理委员会的具体角色和职责，Alison Perry阐述了联合学术委员会的职责。
Zhang Jinlei reviewed the background of the programme's initiation and its application history, and Prof. Baris Soyer elaborated the vision and objectives of the programme. Prof. Zhu Zuoxian introduced the specific roles and responsibilities of the Joint Management Committee, and Prof. Alison Perry elaborated on the responsibilities of the Joint Academic Committee.
最后，朱作贤对会议进行总结并详细介绍了学校下一步的工作计划，他表示，希望通过项目实施，进一步提升学校海商专业的国际声誉和办学内涵。Judith Lamie分享了斯旺西大学的未来规划和期待，她表示，相信两校的强强联合，一定会给学生带来极佳的就读体验。
Finally, Prof. Zhu Zuoxian concluded the meeting and introduced the next move of the programme's work plan in detail, saying that he hoped to further enhance the international reputation and the connotation of the maritime law discipline at DMU through the implementation of the programme. Prof. Judith Lamie shared the future plans and expectations of Swansea University, and she expressed her belief that the combination of the two universities would bring an excellent study experience to students.
2024年皇冠9393体育平台5月，我校与英国斯旺西大学合作举办的法学专业本科教育项目成功获教育部批准，该项目是两校进行法学教育资源共享、国际化人才联合培养、科研跨域合作以及人文交流的重要平台，旨在成为一个高起点、高水平、国际化的合作办学新典范。
In May 2024, the Joint Double Degree Programme in LLB Law launched by DMU and SU was successfully approved by the Ministry of Education of China. The programme is an important platform for the two universities to carry out the sharing of resources in law education, joint cultivation of internationalized talents, cross-domain cooperation in scientific research and humanistic exchanges, and it aims to become a new model of cooperation with a high starting point, a high level and an internationalized approach.
