On June 23, 2014 Short-term Summer Course for Hong Kong University Students officially started in DMU Law School. The opening ceremony was held in DMU exhibition hall. Law school teachers and students expressed their congratulations and warm welcome to students from Hong Kong University, City University of Hong Kong and The Hong Kong Polytechnic University to join this training course.

Later Hong Kong students were lead to visit Law School Building, Navigation Teaching Building, Planetarium, Auditorium, The East Stadium, and Marble Pillar and so on. Students of DMU East campus implemented militarization management mode, the queue was neat, unanimously white shirt demonstrated DMU specialty that impressed Hong Kong students greatly. The school motto stone and architecture conveyed special spirit of DMU.

On the evening, Deputy Dean of law school, Professor Li Zhiwen, project leader and Associate Professor Zhang Jinlei, instructor Wang Tian, and teachers from Hong Kong University and City University of Hong Kong attended the welcome dinner hosted by DMU law school. Deputy dean Li Zhiwen gave a warm welcome on behalf of law school.

In the next few days, Hong Kong students visited DMU training ship “YuKun”, Dalian Maritime Court and other places. Law school also invited renowned scholars and experts to deliver academic lectures to Hong Kong students such as Professor Si Yuzhuo, Vice President Shan Hongjun, Dean of law school Chu Beiping and etc. They were also invited to participated DMU commencement. The Short-term Summer Course further strengthened cooperation, increased exchanges, and jointly enhance the development with each other.
