In the morning of June 30th, Dean of DMU law school and Director of Maritime Insurance Law Research Center Chu Beiping met with Vice President of Central University of Finance and Economics law school and discussed how to promote cooperation. The visit aimed at promoting communication and cooperation, strengthening the share of information resources with each other, improving the development in the field of insurance law.

Both sides reached a consensus on exchange and cooperation program after negotiation: both sides can exchange students to learn advantages and specialty in the cultivation to students, in addition, invite excellent teachers and organize a variety of characteristic lecture then form teaching resources sharing; in the scientific research level, both parties could cooperate through support interdisciplinary and work together to promote long-term development and progress in the related field with each other. They also exchanged views in depth on the joint program launched by DMU and Central University of Finance and Economics.

DMU law school took this opportunity to hold the Insurance Salon. Department head of maritime law and Associate Professor Jiang Yuechuan and other 5 teachers had in-depth discussion with guests in applicable and insurance interest of marine insurance. The meeting was very pluralistic; many different opinions were shared, and acquired a great of achievements.

The success to establish alliances with Central University of Finance and Economics Insurance Institute had important implications for marine insurance law of DMU and development of DMU law school which laid a good foundation in the related fields of further cooperation.
