The Final Debate Competition on “Nomocracy Construction”
Introduction:
The Fourth Plenary Session of the 18th CPC Central Committee, slated for Oct 20-23, deliberated and approved on a draft decision of the CPC Central Committee on "major issues concerning comprehensively advancing rule of law". In order to study, carry out and implement the spirit of “Rule of Law”, a debate competition on “Nomocracy Construction”, hosted by CYL committee of DMU and undertook by CYL committee of Law School, has been held for half a month. After the tough preliminary and semi-final contests, debate team from Transportation Management College and team from Transportation Equipment & Ocean Engineering College stand out from eight teams and will meet on the final. A fierce competition is coming!

Resolved: Who should make more efforts for nomocracy construction in China, citizens or government ?
Affirmative: Debate team from Transportation Equipment & Ocean Engineering College
Negative: Debate team from Transportation Management College
Judges: Teachers from Law School: Wang Yong, Gu Rongxin, Qu Sheng, Lin Yueming;
and members of debate teams from Dalian University of Technology and Dongbei University of Finance and Economics.
