First Lecture on Nomocracy (法治): The Evolution Process of Democracy

Introduction:

The 18th CPC National Congress use “three advocates”, respectively on the level of nation, society and individual, to explain socialist core values. In order to expound socialist core values in detail, CYL committee of Law School decide to hold a series of lectures on nomocracy principle education, and interpret socialist core values in perspective of nomocracy. The first lecture will come soon.

Speaker:Professor Wang Shitao

Speaker Biography:

Professor Wang Shitao, one of the famous professors in Law School of DMU, PH.D supervisor, responsible for the direction of the subject, director of Basic Law Department, and director of Maritime Administrative Law Research Center, who has a high reputation among Law School students. In the lecture, Professor Wang will introduce what are democracy and the present situation of democracy. He will also forecast the development of democracy.
