PhD in maritime law, associate professor, director of the maritime law office in the research center for international maritime law during September 2009 to September 2010, a visiting scholar to the law school of NottinghamUniversity and the law school of Swansea university.

Honorary awards:
1. "The theory of whether it should put supplementary provisions to the principle of utmost good faith of the British model during the modification of ‘Maritime Law’- and reflection to the principle of utmost good faith of the Marine insurance law"won the second prize of the National Maritime Law ExcellentPaper Award in 2003(the first prize in vacancy).
2. "Reflections on big changes of functions of delivery document - a review of the regulations of "The Draft of UNCITRAL Transport Law"won the second prize of the National Maritime Law ExcellentPaper Award in 2005 (the first prize in vacancy).
Representative results:
1. “Proposal by China on Chapter 19 of the Draft Instrument and the Issue of Freedom of Contract”, this is the Chinese delegation’s suggestion during participating in the transport law conference of UNCITRAL, established as formal proposal (see UNCITRAL website www.uncitral.org), several suggestions of which was adopted by "UNCITRAL Transport Law Convention"(later “The Rotterdam Rules). This is an important successful result from the Chinese government actively participating in the international maritime legislation. The proposal is under the guidance of professor SiYuZhuo and himself as main draftsman.
2. The paper under cooperation with professor SiYuZhuo "should or not seal fees charged by the shipping company from the perspective of private law", is confirmed as official documents by "China Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation Enterprise Association" (foreign trade and economic cooperation enterprise association letter word [2005] no.2), transferred to the Secretary Bureau Two of General Office of the State Council, price department ofthe National Development and Reform Commission, Ministry of Commerce (foreign trade department and treaty department), department of transportation (shipping department and regulations department) and State Administration for Industry and Commerce (fair trade companydepartment and regulationsdepartment). This paper provides certain academic support on how to solve the dispute on THC and the container seal fee.
