Professor ZhaoLuJun, graduated from driving professional of navigation department of Dalian Maritime University in 1987.In 1992, hegraduated from the navigation department of Dalian Maritime University. He went to Swansea University to do researchas a senior visiting scholar from 2002 to 2003. He is the master tutor on maritime law in Law School of Dalian Maritime Universityand themaster tutor on environmental and resources protection law.

Research areas

Maritime law, marine oil pollution cases, international commercial law, maritime administrative law and navigation technology.

Social affiliations

He is the part-time arbitrator of Dalian Arbitration Commission; director of International Law Research Committee of Liaoning Provincial Law Society (since 2003); Law of international law association of liaoning province (2003); executive director of Maritime Law Research Committee of Liaoning Provincial Law Society(since 2009).

Honorary rewards

Main joint awarded achievements are: "The Research on the Relevant Policies to the Shipping between Hong Kong, Macao and Mainlandafter theirReturn" won third prize of the department of transport; "The Trend of International Maritime Legislation and Countermeasures Research" won the first prize among worksin Liaoning Province; "The Research on Modifications of ‘The Maritime Law of the People's Republic of China’" won the second prize of Maritime Research Reward; “Research onLegislation Characteristics and Development Trend Of International Maritimeand Countermeasures in China inthe 21st century” won third prize of China Institute of Navigation; "The Existing Problems and Countermeasures of the Uses of the Sea Areas in Dalian" won the third prize of Dalian Scientific Papers Awards Committee.
